Roulette Strategy

Originating in France over 200 years ago, roulette has become a very popular game worldwide. In roulette, the dealer spins a wheel, with numbers and colours on it, in one direction and spins a ball around the wheel in the other direction. Before this, you place bets on where they think the ball will land. If you guess right, you win! It’s really that simple.

Strategy

Roulette is a game of chance and guesswork. It’s just impossible to predict where the ball will land. This does not mean, however, that you shouldn’t have a betting strategy. The layout of the roulette wheel allows you to implement a betting system because you can calculate what bets you have a greater likelihood of winning.

In roulette, there are two types of bets– “inside bets” and “outside bets.” Your chance of winning an inside bet is lower, but if you do, the returns are higher. This is opposed to an outside bet, where you have a higher chance of winning, but lower returns if you do. Inside bets involve betting on a specific number, whereas in outside bets, players place bets on red/black, or odd/even or different groups of numbers, increasing their chances.

One popular strategy used by players is known as the Martingale strategy. Using this system, players double their bets after every loss in order to try to recoup their prior losses and make a profit. However, this is a risky move that can eliminate an entire bankroll after a few losses in row.

A game that relies heavily on luck, roulette is a fun and thrilling game! Proceed with a spending limit and enjoy!
